Comprehensive and Accurate Evaluation
Are you here because you've been questioning certain symptoms or behaviors? You might have asked yourself, "Am I clinically depressed?" or wondered if there's an explanation for certain patterns like autism or ADHD. Perhaps you're simply seeking answers, asking, "What's going on with me?" Through a comprehensive assessment process, you will leave my office with a clear understanding of your strengths and any areas of concern. I specialize in evaluating individuals from the age of 4 and above.
For children and adolescents, these evaluations serve as a valuable tool to pinpoint any diagnoses or concerns that might be impacting daily life, both at home and in school. The comprehensive report will also include tailored recommendations to support and accommodate specific challenges in the classroom or social environments.

Many adults seek evaluations to provide insight into lifelong challenges they've faced. These assessments offer a roadmap by providing a clear understanding of any new diagnoses or insights gained. Additionally, they include an extensive list of recommendations for further action, whether it's therapeutic support, lifestyle adjustments, or accommodations in the workplace.

Supporting Parents and Caregivers
My passion extends to supporting parents and caregivers as they navigate the complexities of parenting and work to nurture better relationships with their children. Parenting can be challenging, especially when dealing with difficult behaviors. I offer guidance on fostering emotional growth, promoting positive behaviors, and building strong, connected relationships between you and your child.

In our work together, I focus on strengthening the foundation of the parent-child relationship. You'll learn how to praise and reinforce positive behaviors before establishing rules and setting consequences. This relationship-focused approach is designed to foster long-term cooperation, reduce power struggles, and create a nurturing environment where your child can thrive emotionally and socially.

Through tailored strategies, I help parents manage challenging behaviors with empathy, patience, and clarity. We work together to address the unique needs of your child and your family unit, making parenting feel less overwhelming and more rewarding.

Supervision and Speaking Engagements
Beyond therapy and evaluation, I provide supervision to clinicians and am available for speaking engagements on a range of mental health topics. I am dedicated to fostering the next generation of mental health professionals through thoughtful supervision that prioritizes client-centered care, ethical decision-making, and professional growth.

For speaking engagements, I specialize in topics that equip both professionals and the broader community with deeper understanding and practical tools. Some topics I cover include understanding developmental and complex trauma, differential diagnosis, coping with challenging behaviors in children and teenagers, fostering connection in parenting, and empowering Black women and BIPOC communities. These presentations aim to provide actionable insights and empower attendees to create meaningful change in their personal and professional lives. My goal is to leave you with knowledge and tools that foster growth and healing.
